Review: Elf Goodies

Hi Girlies,

A few weeks ago, the lovely people over at Elf sent me a few products to review. As i've raved over their products in the past, I couldn't wait to try them out!!
If you read my blog regularly, I love Elf products as they're really affordable and often really great quality.

This is what they sent me to try out!! I received a Nail Polish in Purple Dream, a Studio Blush in Berry Merry and a Bamboo Foundation Brush.

I was really excited about the Nail Polish as Purple Dream is one of their new shades for the spring/summer and everytime that I have tried to buy this it has been out of stock so it must be popular. I must say, after trying this out, I love it!!

I've never tried their Nail Polish before so was interested to see what it was like. I can't praise this enough!! Its got an amazing shine to it and the perfect size brush glides the colour on flawlessly. It also has a quick dry formula which ensures a perfect application every time and it dries in seconds. All of the shades are infused with Vitamin E which makes nails stronger and healthier too which is a bonus!!

All of this for just £1.50!!

Im wearing two coats in the picture with no base coat or top coat and I have now been wearing this for the last three days with not one chip. Pretty impressive for just over a pound!!

If you read my last post about Elf products, you'll know that I bought (and loved) a couple of their Studio Blushes. (Read it here)
I've wanted to try this one for a while but again, its always been out of stock. This is shade Berry Merry and its a very wearable colour thats very sheer so perfect for when your in a rush!! This blusher also has a kind of highlighter effect that makes me look like i've applied a highlighter so double points for this!!

The Studio Blushes are available for just £3.50 and to be honest, i've used much more expensive blushers for a much less effective result.

The third and final product is the Bamboo Foundation Brush. The Bamboo brush range is slightly more expensive than their other brushe ranges (with this one costing £5.50) but still more than affordable.
The reason for this is a good one as this antibacterial, synthetic, Taklon bristled brush is 100% cruelty free, luxuriously soft and can be used with wet or dry products.
Elf state that it is ideal to use with their Natural Mineral Makeup. The natural and sustainable bamboo handle and the recycled aluminum Ferrule is eco-friendly for guilt free beauty.

This is a really good foundation brush as the bristles are quite densely packed and it gives a really smooth application.
I have only used this with liquid foundations so far but it has worked well with all of them. Im not sure how well this would work with a mousse or cream foundation.

I really like the wooden handles on these brushes but the one downside is they are very lightweight which can be a bit awkward when applying your make up.

Overall, I would recommend everything that i've tried and thats my honest opinion!! I've always loved Elf products and these little beauties have not disappointed.

Have you tried any of these products yet?!

What do you think of them and which products would you like to try?!

x x

I can promise that this review was completely honest and my own opinion, despite the things being sent to me!!

I'd love to try out some of these! The Berry Merry name is so cute!

And the brush is kinda scary - reminds me of a real paint-brush I use for oil painting. ;) X

P.S. Don’t forget about my new giveaway!
