Project Clear Skin

Hi Girlies!!

As you all know now, im currently going through a break up and its taking its toll on my skin, BIG TIME!!

Im not sure if its the stress of having to move out of my ex's and back in to my parents or just all the upset but my skin has never looked so bad, not even when I was a teenager.

So I thought I would share the few products that have become my little life savers.

I decided to try the Vichy Normaderm moisturiser as id seen it on a few other blogs and had heard great reviews on it. It claims to have a hydra-peeling effect technology that can give you healthy looking and luminous skin in 7 days. It reduces the look of imperfections, gives a matte finish and offers 24hr hydration.
It states on the box that its great for clogged pores, shine, imperfections and irregular texture and I can say it has been amazing on my oily skin!!
My skin is shine free all day and it doesnt feel greasy either which is a bonus.

Estee Lauder Double Wear, need I say more?! Holy Grail foundation!!

My new little discovery is Urban Decay's Surreal Skin Mineral Make up.

When I started working for Urban Decay, I was very intrigued by this as its a mineral make up that offers a full coverage.
After buying it and using it, I can say it does just that!! I apply this over my Double Wear as a finishing powder although you can use it on its own too.
It gives amazing coverage and a gorgeous flawless finish. The powder comes through the little sponge attached and you just pat it on your skin. I love this product and would recommend it to everyone!!

With all of my make up on, my skin doesnt look too bad but trust me, when I take it all off, I look like an acne covered teenager and its really getting me down. :-(

What do you recommend for spotty, oily, acne prone skin?!

You look gorgeous! I've only recently tried Double Wear and I love it :) I sometimes get cystic acne on my chin and the only thing that really clears it is benzyl peroxide gel and antibiotics from my GP which is a pain in the bum! xxx

I think you really need to invest in some good make up remover. I like Superdrug brand green-blue packaging face wash - great to use after gym, but not for every day use because it dries my skin (I have normal/dry) - so may be good for you. Also, watch this video - this girl has oily skin:

she is amazing.

I am not saying that you have skin as her, but she uses good primers etc. to prevent oily skin.

I hope you're feeling a little better. Keep blogging! X

I've got the same issues with skin, but maybe it's not the products you use, maybe it's your makeup tools! I had to change/wash all my brushes and get a new drugstore face wash and that was it, things were better! :) Hope the breakup is going alright, I know it's hard but I promise you'll be okay. Keep your head held high! There's a new post up on my blog, so feel free to stop by!
xoxo, Veena
