Project Clear Skin

Hi Girlies!!

As you all know now, im currently going through a break up and its taking its toll on my skin, BIG TIME!!

Im not sure if its the stress of having to move out of my ex's and back in to my parents or just all the upset but my skin has never looked so bad, not even when I was a teenager.

So I thought I would share the few products that have become my little life savers.

I decided to try the Vichy Normaderm moisturiser as id seen it on a few other blogs and had heard great reviews on it. It claims to have a hydra-peeling effect technology that can give you healthy looking and luminous skin in 7 days. It reduces the look of imperfections, gives a matte finish and offers 24hr hydration.
It states on the box that its great for clogged pores, shine, imperfections and irregular texture and I can say it has been amazing on my oily skin!!
My skin is shine free all day and it doesnt feel greasy either which is a bonus.

Estee Lauder Double Wear, need I say more?! Holy Grail foundation!!

My new little discovery is Urban Decay's Surreal Skin Mineral Make up.

When I started working for Urban Decay, I was very intrigued by this as its a mineral make up that offers a full coverage.
After buying it and using it, I can say it does just that!! I apply this over my Double Wear as a finishing powder although you can use it on its own too.
It gives amazing coverage and a gorgeous flawless finish. The powder comes through the little sponge attached and you just pat it on your skin. I love this product and would recommend it to everyone!!

With all of my make up on, my skin doesnt look too bad but trust me, when I take it all off, I look like an acne covered teenager and its really getting me down. :-(

What do you recommend for spotty, oily, acne prone skin?!

Sometimes It Lasts In Love, But Sometimes It Hurts Instead

Hi Ladies,

I thought id take the time to update all of my lovely blogger friends on why ive been absent on the blog scene for such a long time.

I have recently split up with my boyfriend of 2 years and it was his decision.

Im sure most of you have experienced this at some point in your life but its been the first time that I have been "dumped" and ive not really known what to do with myself.

I know in the long run that it was probably the best thing for us as we just didnt work together and were always arguing but its still really hard when you love someone.

Its been quite a stressful time as just before we split up, I had the chance to change the company that I work for and was really happy about that even though it meant more interviews and a stressful time.
I got the job though so its not all been bad and im sooo happy in my new job and love, love, love it so far!!

My new job is working for:

I love going to work and be able to share my passion for Urban Decay products and wearing false lashes on a daily basis has bought out a whole new me!!

With my new job and trying to deal with a break up, I kind of lost interest in blogging as I didnt want to bore you all to tears but I have been keeping up to date on reading all of your blogs and a lot of them have taken my mind off things and helped to cheer me up!!

Hopefully now i'll be back to blogging properly :-)

Still smiling!!

How have you dealt with a break up before?!

Twycross Zoo

Hi Girlies!!

Today me and the bf went to Twycross Zoo. I love it there as there's just so many monkeys as well as other animals to look at.
The main reason I wanted to go was that they now have some baby snow leopard cubs and I really wanted to see them while they are still small.

We also saw some baby meerkats, a baby orangutan and loads of guinea pigs (which I love!!)

I just thought I would share some photos with you all as its a little bit different from my usual posts, Enjoy!!

I got bought my own little snow leopard cub :-)

Has anyone been to Twycross before?! Hope you all had a lovely day in the sun!!

Maybelline The Colossal Cat Eye's Mascara

Hi Ladies!!

I recently picked up one of Maybelline's newest addition to their mascara range, which is of course their The Colossal Cat Eye's Mascara.
I was intrigued to try it as I do actually like a lot of Maybelline's mascaras and was interested to see how this one was any different.

I really like the brush of this mascara, its curved but not too big, so its great for catching every lash.

I found this mascara great for lengthening and defining my lashes but it didnt really do much for adding volume or creating curl which is something that I am always looking for!!

Also, it didnt really add any great length to the outer few lashes as it kind of claims to do but I wasn't expecting it to really. I dont think any mascara could actually help with that.

I really like this mascara and i've been wearing it everyday at work without it smudging or flaking.

Its available now priced at £7.99 but currently its £2 off in Superdrug!!

Have you tried this yet?! What did you think of it?!

Loving My Lady Million

Hi Girlies!!

First of all I need to apologise for being a very bad blogger and not blogging for over a week!! I can't believe its been that long but honestly this whole having a full time job thing is seriously taking over my life. My days at the moment are pretty much, wake up, shower, work, eat, sleep and repeat.
I must get used to it soon, i've only done my first proper week this week so lets hope I settle in to it soon!!

Anyway, I was shopping with the bf recently and he treated us to some new smells :-)

He chose 1 Million by paco rabanne for himself and then very kindly bought me the female version, Lady Million.

I really like 1 Million and think that its the perfect smell for guys to wear. Its only an Eau De Toilette but the scent seems to last all day with only a couple of sprays. Its a gorgeous "man smell" and if you like your man to smell amazing, i'd definately recommend this!!

Lady Million is also gorgeous. Its become my most reached for perfume of the moment. I got the Eau De Parfum as I like my perfumes to last a little bit longer on the skin and find that Eau De Toilettes wear off quite quickly.

I love the packaging of this, an impressive golden diamond shaped bottle. Its inspiration was the famous Regent Diamond which is also known as the Millionaire Diamond, which resides in the Louvre!!

I got the 30ml bottle which means the whole top of the bottle lifts off to reveal the spray, however if you get the larger sizes, there is a spray mechanism on the top of the bottle like the mens which I personally prefer.

This perfume is ultra-feminine, glamorous, vibrant and sensual. The experts say that this has fresh top notes of bitter orange, fleshy raspberry and neroli, followed by floral notes of orange blossom and Arabian jasmine and base notes of patchouli, honey and amber.

I just think that its a gorgeous scent, perfect for the day time or for a night out. It seems to have been aimed to be more of a high end perfume and its definately one of my heavier kind of perfumes but I dont mind that as it lasts longer and means that I can still actually smell it throughout the day!!

Have you tried this before?! What do you think of it?!

Dior Addict Lipstick in Diorkiss

Hi Guys!!

So recently I won a giveaway from over at Charlotte's Obsessions where the lovely Charlotte was celebrating reaching 600 followers!! As the winner of her giveaway, I got to choose either a Chanel Rouge Coco Shine or a Dior Addict lipstick in a shade of my choice.
This was a very generous prize and just wanted to say a big Thank You to Charlotte for my lipstick!!

Anyway, after searching through what seemed like thousands of different shades in both brands of lipsticks, I finally chose whats probably been the bestseller out of the Dior Lipsticks as its the shade that Kate Moss wears in the promo pic, DiorKiss.

I wasn't sure weather to chose a Chanel or a Dior Lipstick but im so glad that I chose this in the end as its the perfect colour for me and the texture of this is gorgeous!! Its not at all drying on my lips and it just glides on.
Its great for everyday wear as its not too bright but I feel like I should save this for special nights out as its my very first Dior Lipstick and I know how expensive they are!!

Its the perfect pink colour with no shimmer but it does give that lovely sheen to the lips which I love as it never looks dull or drying when applied.
I think this shade would suit most people and it wouldnt surprise me if most of you already have this in your collection!!

Once again, a big Thank You to Charlotte, I love my new lipstick!! :-)

Have you tried this yet?! Which other shades would you recommend?!

Lee Stafford Advice and A Catch Up

Hi Lovelies!!

I have been a bad blogger recently but I had forgotton how much having a job actually takes it out of you!! I have only done my first three days of training with Benefit but i've literally been coming home and going straight to sleep.
Its going well and I love it so far, its just tiring me out already!!

Anyway, I have always wanted to try Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment but have never bothered picking it up as because of the price, I figured that even if it did actually work, I would end up spending a fortune on the stuff.

However I was on the Boots website the other day and noticed that selected Lee Stafford products are on an offer, 3 for £12. As this is normally £7.99 for one tub, I decided to order three of them.

I haven't tried it yet as I was wandering if any of you girlies have used this before and how you use it. It states on the tub to use it after shampoo and before conditioner but I wasnted to maybe use it as a hair mask and leave it on for a while as its quite thick and i thought that this would give my hair a treat.
Have any of you used this in this way before?!

On another note, me and the bf went to see The Inbetweeners today and it was hilarious!! If you get the chance to go and see it, then you definately should, its very funny!!

We were a little early for the film and so went in to Frankie and Bennys for a cheeky cocktail :-)

Have you seen The Inbetweeners yet?! Hope everyone had a fab weekend!!
